Flamingo Pet Products awarded the B2B Webshop Award 2023!
During the presentation of the Belgian E-commerce Awards 2023, Flamingo Pet Products was awarded the prize for the best B2B Webshop in Belgium!
The Awards by Jury rewards webshops that operate in specific market segments, such as B2B, export, marketplaces, and are judged by a Jury based on the submitted file. After being nominated in the top 3 alongside the likes of About You, RAJA, VeePee and others, Flamingo took home the top prize for B2B Webshop.
Digital but close at hand
Digitalisation was already high on the agenda at our company, but corona accelerated everything even faster. In 2021, we launched our new website with an online catalogue and tips for pet owners. But our professional clients have not been forgotten either. From pet shops to wholesalers or pet grooming salons, our clients can shop to their heart's content in a brand new, user-friendly B2B webshop since February 2022!

Our webshop is an extension of our service provision. For example, our clients can find a wealth of product information and files in our webshop, such as images, videos and PDFs that can be downloaded with a single click. We also have many B2B functionalities such as a barcode scanner and systems for easy data exchange such as GS1 (which we even pioneered and defined the data sheets for pets with), Channable, EDI ...
Why we excel in B2B E-commerce
Compared to other B2B websites, we differentiate ourselves through our wealth of product information, useful B2B features, multilingual support and global client onboarding, among other things.
In the first half of 2023, total webshop sales increased by +62% compared to the first half of 2022. This led to the webshop's share of total sales increasing from 6.14% to 8.08%. The number of registrations on the webshop also doubled in the first half of 2023 compared to 2022. On average, this is increasing by 10% per quarter.
As such, our webshop is a great example of how we are combining digitalisation with customer service. And we continue to work hard every day to expand and improve the functionalities of the website and the B2B webshop.
