East Limburg Hospital (ELH)

Flamingo Pet Products and East Limburg Hospital (ELH) have teamed up to give hospital patients the opportunity to reconnect with their pets during their hospital stay. Under the name “Gust & Billie’s Paw Friends”, special meeting areas have been set up at the ELH campuses in Genk, Lanaken, and Maaseik. Flamingo equips these spaces with pet essentials such as scratching posts, toys, and cushions, creating a warm and safe environment for both patients and their furry friends. The initiative aims to improve patients' well-being and promote their recovery by enabling contact with their beloved pets.

Smiling Dogs

Flamingo works with Patricia of Smiling Dogs, a certified parenting and behavior coach. Together, we write blogs to offer pet parents useful tips and raise awareness about the importance of both physical and mental health in dogs. Thanks to Patricia’s expertise, we’re able to share valuable insights on massage, movement, behaviour and overall well-being. This way, we help dogs and their humans lead happier and healthier lives.

Veterinarian Valérie Vermeulen

We teamed up with veterinarian Valérie Vermeulen to inform and inspire new pet parents as they welcome a puppy or kitten in their lives. Together, we created a series of helpful content — including videos, blogs, and social media posts. These resources offered practical tips and expert advice to give every pet the healthy, happy start they deserve.

Each year, we receive a high number of requests for donations, sponsorships and partnerships. That’s why we’ve chosen to sponsor one major organisation or charity annually, and support one or two smaller initiatives alongside it.
